We believe the Holy Scriptures are made up of the sixty-six books of the Tanakh (Hebrew Scripture)
and the Brit Hadasha (New Covenant). We believe the Holy Scriptures to be the inspired Word
of HaShem (G-d), without error in their original manuscripts, the complete revelation of HaShem's
will for salvation, "valuable for teaching the truth, convicting of sin, correction of faults, and training
in right living" (2 Timothy 3:16). The Holy Scriptures are the final authority for all matters, spiritual
and personal.
We believe in one Elohim (G-d), Creator and Sustainer of all things; infinite, perfect, eternal and
without equal. We believe HaShem to be all-knowing, all-powerful and all-present. We believe
that HaShem is eternally existent as a complex unity. We believe that HaShem is Holy and requires
His people to be Holy and to separate themselves to Him.
We believe that the L-rd Y'shua (Jesus) is the Messiah of all mankind. We believe in the total deity
and humanity of the L-rd Y'shua. We believe that He was conceived by the Ruach HaKodesh
(Holy Spirit) and born of Miryam, who being a virgin, fulfilled prophecy.
We believe that the Messiah Y'shua, in total obedience to Ha'Av (The Father), came to earth and
died and rose again and ascended into heaven where He stands at the right hand of Ha'Av interceding
for us.
We believe that in His death and resurrection He took away the sin of the world (Yochanan 1:29).
We believe that He will soon return for one bride who has prepared herself.
We believe in the Ruach HaKodesh (Holy Spirit). We believe that the Ruach HaKodesh indwells
all Believers and gives instruction and enablement for godly living and service. We believe that the
Ruach has gifts for the edification of the congregation and uses them as He wills (1 Corinthians 12:4).
We believe that we are called to be Biblically Torah Observant, in that we are called to imitate
Messiah Y'shua in all things, and that He is the Living Torah so we are called to follow His example.
We furthermore, incorporate the following Thirteen Principles of Faith as set forth by
Rabbi Maimonides, with modification to Principle 12 in accordance with our belief.
- We believe with complete faith that the Creator, Blessed is His Name, creates and guides all creatures, and that He alone made, makes, and will make everything.
- We believe with complete faith that the Creator, Blessed is His Name, is unique, and there is no uniqueness like His in any way, and that He alone is our G-d, Who was, Who is, and Who always will be.
- We believe with complete faith that the Creator, Blessed is His Name, is not physical, and is not affected by physical phenomena, and that there is no comparison whatsoever to Him.
- We believe with complete faith that the Creator, Blessed is His Name, is the very first and the very last.
- We believe with complete faith that to the Creator, Blessed is His Name -- to Him alone is it proper
to pray and it is not proper to pray to any other.
- We believe with complete faith that all the words of the prophets are true.
- We believe with complete faith that the prophecy of Moses our teacher, peace be upon him, was true.
- We believe with complete faith that the Torah now in our hands is the same essence of the revealed Word of G-d as given to Moses, our teacher, peace be upon him.
- We believe with complete faith that this Torah will not be exchanged nor will there be another Torah from the Creator, Blessed is His Name.
- We believe with complete faith that the Creator, Blessed is His Name, knows all the deeds of human beings and their thoughts, as it is said, 'He fashions their hearts all together, He
comprehends all their deeds.
- We believe with complete faith that the Creator, Blessed is His Name, rewards with good those
who observe His commandments, and punishes those who violate His commandments.
- We believe with complete faith that Y'shua HaMoshiach has come; with great joy we anticipate
His return, and even though He may delay, nevertheless we think about His return every day.
- We believe with complete faith that there will be a resuscitation of the dead when the wish
emanates from the Creator, Blessed is His Name and exalted is His mention, forever and for all eternity.
